        Madonna and Child. Carved white marble, inscribed on base "J. C. Motto". Commissioned by Dr. C. A. Muncaster in 1931, who had this cast in bronze by the Gorham company, NYC. Approx. 14-3/4"H. This was a gifted to Ms. Clara Scranton of Cleveland Ohio, an employee of the Cleveland Museum of Art and friend of Dr. Charles Muncaster, a patron of the arts in the early history of the Cleveland School Art movement.
