Arie Moskowitz [b. 1930] A painter Romanian-born. In 1948 he came to Israel, to Safed, where, on the instructions of the local commander of the defense, he designed the title page of the Kol Safed newspaper, and the Safed stamps. Illustrated numerous books of children and youth in the fifties, sixties and seventies - Bible stories "Kofiko", "Hasamba" , "Danidin" and many more. He also illustrated many greeting cards. M.
