Walter Moskow (Illinois,1931-2013) Walter Moskow, a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, has exhibited throughout the United States. He worked as a commercial artist for over twenty years at the corporate headquarters of Montgomery Wards in the display and advertising department while he and his wife, Loyce, continued their interests in art.
Also a figurative artist, he developed a drawing and painting talent that evolved into a style of his own through the use of high gloss oil paint, pastels, charcoals, and Conte' crayons. He took it to another level by creating a number of etchings that paid tribute to a musical and dance legacy of jazz, blues, ballet, and other subjects using light and dark contrasts.
His works have been exhibited at a number of galleries, universities, and academies.
