Titled and dated in pencil on separate, loose mat strip "Ward Montague, (Cruising) Lithograph (1935) Ex-Collection of Ted Wahl-The Printer". Measures 10.5" x 8" (image size) and measures 16" x 11.25" (sheet size). Excellent condition. Unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down. Provenance: The Amity Arts Foundation Collection.       Ward Montague (1898 - 1987). Carved 20th C. Wooden Bust of a Woman. Height: 17 inches. Ward Montague was born in Covelo, California, in 1898. He served in World War I and began sculpting as part of the vocational training he received. Montague went on to study at the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco, the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, and with Fernand Leger, Jean Charlot, and Emilio Amero.
