Within the ‘best of the best’, only the top 5 per cent of illustrators were chosen to have three illustrations featured. “It’s all in the mix! To me, every job has a unique recipe. Clients always want something tantalising that leaves you wanting more. When I’m creating, I go shopping in my head for fresh ideas and ingredients to make a delicious illustration – and then I get mixing. When the consistency is just right, I turn up the heat (sometimes burning the candle at both ends) and watch the results.

I love to collect bits and pieces of ephemera and my technique is to use an unusual mix of textures, collage and hand-drawn and painted images. I have been illustrating for many years for national and international magazines, publishers and advertising agencies. I love illustrations that have an original concept and tell a story that is unforgettable. My work includes illustrations for advertising, promotions, books, magazines and web, portraits and caricatures (editorial/political), childrens literature, fine art, toys and games. Artistic styles: mixed media (watercolour, acrylic, pencil, collage and digital). I am the most happiest when I can smell the paint, feel the paper and fly like a bird!
