Ruth Moilliet Sculpture

July 2000 – Present (14 years 3 months)

Ruth Moilliet produces highly finished metal and glass sculptures inspired by the plant kingdom. In her work she aims to draw the viewer’s attention to both the overall spectacle and individual beauty of a flower.

Her sculptures are predominantly made from metal and often incorporate colour and different finishes adding texture and contrasts in the work. She combines other materials such as glass and acrylic to enhance the designs she produces and the particular project she is working on.

As well as her metal sculptures she produces work made with layers of float glass. These incorporate real flowers as well as photographic and sandblasted images of flowers.

As an internationally renowned and established artist Ruth’s artworks are collectible limited editions and are featured in corporate and private Collections across the world. She has been commissioned to supply sculptures for such luminaries as Urban Splash, the Four Seasons Hotels and the BBC. Ruth has regularly exhibited her work, including several solo shows and her work is regularly featured in numerous national publications including ‘The Sunday Times’, ‘The Guardian’ and ‘Homes and Gardens’.
