DONG MINGGUANG Art for Sale at Auction

The children that star in Dong Mingguang's sculptures emerge from an innocent world, although full of violence, deceit and materialism. The multiplicity of characters that, as a series, his sculptures display, allude to the resurgence of Chinese power. With his works, Mingguang expresses the anxiety of a country and its people. Trained in photography and sculpture, Mingguang combines his work as an artist with teaching at the sculpture center of Shandong Art College. A graduate in sculpture from Shandong Art College in China, Mingguang is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and Chinese Sculpture Institute.
