    A jewelled and gold cigarette-case Cyrillic mark of Anders Mickelson, St. Petersburg, circa 1890 Rectangular, with round corners, the chased and engraved textured surface applied with rubies-set Cyrillic initials with cabouchon sapphire thumb-piece, the interior engraved with presentation inscription, marked on flange, in original fitted red leather case, the cover applied with Cyrillic initials SV 3¾ in. (9.5 cm.) long The Cyrillic initials on the cover are of His Majesty's Life-Guards Cossack Regiment. The Russian inscription translates as 'For Semion Nikolaievich Varlamov with deepest respects from his Cossak Regiment' and engraved with names of 33 donors.
