Jh., verso signiert sowie gestempelt Bronze Garanti Au Titre und Nummer A 1760, Bronze nuanciert braun patiniert, Brustdarstellung des kindlich dargestellten Liebesgottes mit Pfeilen im Köcher, auf hoher Stele, diese am unteren Rand mit vollplastisch reliefierten Turteltäubchen, leichte Altersspuren, H 24,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: italienischer Bildhauer (1859 Valenza/Sardinien bis nach 1908), studierte zuerst an der Accademia Albertina in Turin, bereiste Florenz und arbeitete anschließend in Rom bei Giacomo Ginotti, später ansässig in Turin, er schuf einige Monumente, ist jedoch auch für seine Kinder-Kleinplastiken bekannt. Artist information: Italian sculptor (1859 Valenza/Sardinia until after 1908), first studied at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, travelled to Florence and then worked in Rome under Giacomo Ginotti, later based in Turin, he created several monuments, but is also known for his small sculptures of children.
