Patrick McNurney Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Patrick McNurney was born in a rural town in Indiana in 1950. Patrick grew up to become a true “child of the 60’s”. When not yet 20, he abandoned his formal art training in the U.S. and settled on a tiny, sunny Grecian Isle to teach himself how to paint. Isolated from a handy source for traditional art supplies, he began to develop his special talent for abstract collages and mixed media art.

Returning to the U.S. after two years to continue his formal art studies, he completed his BA in art and launched his new career.

His imaginative work was accepted quickly, and opportunities to show his work in a wide range of exhibits throughout the U.S. soon followed.

Patrick has won numerous awards and recognition for his wondrous and unusual abstracts. Using a variety of media including oil, acrylic, and collage techniques, he creates massive, tactile abstract landscapes and non-objective studies. Patrick’s work is represented currently in several galleries and museums in the U.S. His work is displayed Internationally in South America, Canada, and Central Europe.
