        Est: $3,500 - $5,000

ROBERT MCGINNIS (1926-) Adam, Eve, and Lilith in The Garden of Eden. Illustration for an unidentified work, likely book cover or adult magazine, early 1970s. Gouache on Bainbridge board. 380x253 mm; 15x10 inches. Signed "R. McGinnis" in pencil, lower right. This work was discussed and shown to the artist and his son, Kyle McGinnis, in 2017-18 but neither could pinpoint exactly where the illustration appeared. They felt that it was most likely created for one of the numerous men's magazine that McGinnis illustrated, but ultimately unused because of its risqué nudity.

        'BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S' (1961) POSTER | US, Robert E. McGinnis (b.1926)

        Est: £8,000 - £12,000

This film was directed by Blake Edwards, and stars Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard.  This is undoubtedly Hepburn's most famous and iconic role. 40 x 30 inch American posters were used in drive-ins as well as special displays.  They were printed on heavy paper stock, and were distributed rolled, but in most cases were later folded.  This particular poster has remained in near-mint condition and is unfolded.  The artwork on this piece is identical to the standard US one sheet.  The only variance is a slight difference in the colours used, and the printing quality is far superior on this piece, owing to the fact that the ink has absorbed better on the thicker paper stock. This is one of the rarest American posters on this title.
