      Richard McDonald (California, b. 1946) "Whiteface 1/2 Life". Monumental Bronze Figure on Pedestal. Signed, dated '94 and Numbered (6/90). Comes with original pedestal. Provenance: Richard MacDonald Studio, Monterey California 1995 (Purchased for $40,000). Set on a circular variegated marble base revolving on a black laminated stepped pedestal. MacDonald recently gained recognition for sculpting Flair Across America, a monumental 26-foot tall bronze installed in Centennial Park, Atlanta for the 1996 Olympic Games. The Flair celebrates the tenacity involved in the pursuit of excellence while promoting an appreciation for the arts within diverse communities. Statue Overall Dimensions: 30.5 x 22.5 x 14 in.
