Manufactured by Fritz Hansen in 1992. With seal under the tabletop. Measurements: 70 x 150 x 100 cm. The iconic Superellipse table, created in collaboration with Bruno Mathsson, has been manufactured at Fritz Hansen since 1968. After Piet Hein used the Superellipse as a solution to a traffic problem in Sergels Torg, Stockholm, he saw countless possibilities for its use. The table represents Piet Hein's skill as a furniture designer, for in addition to the tabletop he also designed the iconic tension legs.

H. 63,5, L. 175, B. 125 cm. Ant. udført i Värnamo. Litteratur: Bordet og tilblivelsen af spændbenet er omtalt og afbilledet i tidsskriftet Dansk Kunsthaandværk, 37. årgang 1964, i artiklen 'Det Spännande spännbenet' skrevet af Bruno Mathsson selv, s. 141-147. Idéen om spændbenet blev udviklet af Bruno Mathsson allerede i 1962. Denne udgave udført i perioden 1963-1964. To eksemplarer blev brugt som hhv. direktørskrivebord og mødebord hos Svensk Storindustri og Nationalmusset i Stockholm. Disse ligeledes nævnt i artiklen.
