    CLAIRE MASSON (1887-?) DUBONNET / VIN TONIQUE AU QUINQUINA. 1908. 62 1/4x46 1/4 inches, 158x117 1/2 cm. Devambez, Paris. Condition A-: repaired tears at edges; minor repaired tears, creases and abrasions along vertical fold. "Masson was the pseudonym of Claire Mallon whose primary interest was engraving in copper; but she also painted, and her work found its way to the prestigious Salon in 1920, when she became a member of the Société des Artistes Français. Her poster is a rarity . . . it is certainly the rarest of the many posters for Dubonnet" (Wine Spectator 146).
