    Acrylic Sight: 10 3/4 x 13 3/4" Overall: 14 x 17"Titled: Mission Wall Gate - Acrylic Carmel, California February 1972 American, California Harold Mason was both a gallery painter and instructor. He participated in the San Francisco Bay Area during the late 1960's and early 1970's. He was a signature member of the Society of Western Artist and the West Coast Watercolor Society. He won many awards in the area including the prestigious Grumbacher Award for Best Watercolor in the 29th annual SWA exhibit held in the De Young Museum, San Francisco. He moved to Carmel, CA, during the 1970's where he became a member of the Carmel Art Association and served on the executive board of directors. During this period (1973-1989) he was listed in Who's Who in American Art, Who's Who in the West, Dictionary of International Biographies, and Men of Achievement. In 1989, after 25 years of painting, exhibiting, and selling more than 1,500 paintings, Mr. Mason retired from gallery exhibiting.
