Lower middle inscribed in the printing plate: "Die Liebe ein Maler.". Lower middle dated: "1752". Upper left further inscription: "3 Th. ". Date: 1752 Description: Interior scene. A painter kneels on a cushion in front of the portrait of a young woman standing on a canvas. The portrayed woman holds the painter's hand with her right hand. They are facing each other. In the background, two men in academic dress are engaged in conversation. A curtain is draped in the upper right corner.
