Malgorzata Krasucka MARGALIT was born 1952 in Warsaw. Painter and graphic designer.

1960 -1971 studied under Professor Zygmunt Madejski and 1971 -1974 at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts under Professors Janusz Przybylski and Stefan Gierowski.

As early as 1967, at the age of 15, she shared the first prize in a national youth competition called "A Millennium Poster". Her broad spectrum of interests includes set design for theatre ( 1970 scenography for a student theatre performance) and television ( 1994 scenography to a series of private and public TV programmes), teaching and art therapy (1978 therapy classes at the Warsaw Medical Academy Psychiatric Clinic and at a school for problem youth and in 1980 a Summer course for winners of a youth painting competition).

Her illustrations appear in Polish editions of books by Lewis Carroll, Mordechaj Gebitrig, Gianni Rodari, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Robert Stiller, Rabindranath Tagore, Andrzej Waligorski and Ludwika Woznicka. She has over thirty large individual exhibitions in Poland and abroad and took part in several group exhibitions. Over 1300 paintings by Margalit Krasucka can be found in private collections and galleries in Poland and abroad. She is a member of the Association of Polish Artists
