      Georges de Marco (French 1906-1990). Pair of Mediterranean street scenes - 1967, oil on canvas, each signed lower right. Pair of Mediterranean street scenes, each painted with a palette knife and depicting views down long stone streets flanked on either side by tall stone structures with arches above the pathway joining the buildings, one with two figures in the shadows of the buildings, and the other with lush greenery overflowing from a neighboring building and a distant bright cityscape at center background. Gallery stamp in French to verso of one stretcher for F. Caron. Each framed approximately 18.75" x 15.5", unframed approximately 17.875" x 14.875".
