With a liquid spot in the middle of the sheet edge. The lower sheet margin is rubbed. Description: Below the medallion inscribed "Son Altesse Imperiale Paul Petrovitch, Grand Duc de Russie". Gebler, 18th century, Copperplate engraving Technique: Copper engraving on paper Size: 12,4 x 7,8 cm, Depiction: 10,7 x 6,3 cm Condition: Impeccable condition. The print is in excellent condition, it appears fresh and the lines clearly defined. At the margins with slight age-related discolorations Description: Below the depiction inscribed with: "Whoever shed tears of the most pleasant suffering in the Clementine and whoever closed his heart to the author's heart in the Minister will also venerate him in the picture". The verses are by Father Karl Mastalier. This picture was placed in front of the theatrical calendar of Vienna for the year 1772. Keywords:

Engraving depicting a Jewish merchant, part of a series of engravings of Viennese street-cries (Zeichnungen nach dem gemeinen Volke besonders der Kaufruf in Wien). Hand-colored. Engraving: 24.5X36 cm, leaf: 38X51.5 cm. Good condition. Small tears to margins. Few stains.
