      An original, framed drawing by Robert "Bob" Mankoff (American, born 1944) for a cartoon published in the 7 October 2002 issue of the New Yorker Magazine. The image shows a man sitting at a bar, talking to a bartender. The gag/caption reads "I've done a lot of soul searching, and I've come to the conclusion that I should be thinking less about money and more about naked women." It's executed in pencil and black ink, with the caption at the bottom of the sheet in pencil in the artist's hand. Signed lower right. From the collection of Albert J Raman, this piece was purchased from the New Yorker Catroon Bank in 2002, and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mankoff (in his role as president of the Cartoon Bank) and a cut-out page from the New Yorker issue showing the cartoon as published. Framed by the Newman Galleries, Philadelphia. Size: sight is 11.25" X 8.5", frame is 18.5" X 18.5".
