      Studie eines jungen Mannes, den Kopf nachdenklich in die Hand gestützt. Rötelzeichnung. 53 x 43,3 cm. Unten rechts signiert und datiert "P. Malvieux del 1780". Wz. Bekröntes Wappen. Paul Malvieux erhielt seine Ausbildung an der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien, wo er Schüler Jakob Matthias Schmutzers (1733-1811, Wien) war, dessen Stil in dieser Zeichnung deutlich spürbar ist. Werke Malvieux' sind sehr selten, da der Künstler bereits im Alter von nur 28 Jahren starb.
