      [CARRACCI, Ludovico (1555-1619)] - MALVASIA, Cesare (1616-1693) - Il Claustro di S. Michele in Bosco di Bologna dipinto dal famoso Lodovico Carracci. Bologna: Pisarri, 1694. First edition of this work in a copy with manuscript annotations copying the marginal notes of the copy that belonged to the painter Giampietro Zanotti (1674-1765) who rethought the work and had the paintings engraved again in an edition that was printed in 1776. The original annotated copy is written to be part of the library of the Ercolani princes (later merged into the Archiginnasio library) . Folio (400 x 275mm). Frontispiece, 19 plates, 4 of which folding, vignette on title, woodcut headpieces and initials (some waterstaining in the lower right corner, light marginal foxing). Contemporary binding backed in gilt vellum, title on spine label, yellow edges (worn covers). IT [CARRACCI, Ludovico (1555-1619)] - MALVASIA, Cesare (1616-1693) - Il Claustro di S. Prima edizione di quest'opera in una copia che riporta, manoscritte, le note a margine della copia che fu del pittore Giampietro Zanotti (1674-1765) che rielaborò l'opera e fece di nuovo incidere le pitture in un'edizione che venne stampata nel 1776. La copia originale annotata viene scritta essere parte della biblioteca dei principi Ercolani (poi confluita nella biblioteca dell'Archiginnasio). Folio (400 x 275mm). Antiporta, 19 tavole di cui 4 ripiegate, vignetta al frontespizio, testatine, finalini e capilettera xilografici (gora d'acqua all'angolo inferiore destro, lievi fioriture marginali). Legatura coeva con dorso in pergamena dorata, titolo su tassello al dorso, tagli gialli (piatti logori).
