    Karl Mader, Eule 2. Hälfte 20. Jh., monogrammiert, Holz geschnitzt und geschliffen, dunkel gefasst, stärker abstrahierte Eule in eleganter schlichter Linienführung, trocknungsrissig, H 30 cm, L 45 cm. Künstlerinfo: deutscher Bildhauer (1926 Englburg bis 2004 Tittling), entstammte einer Steinmetzfamilie, Lehre und Tätigkeit als Zimmerer, gestaltete als Steinbildhauer für die Firma Thiele in Fürstenstein, sein Großvater sowie der Maler Wilhelm Niedermayer und Dr. Hans Vogt bestärkten ihn, sich in Abendkursen und Fernstudium weiterzubilden, ab 1965 freischaffend tätig, tätig bis hin zu Monumentalgröße in Stein, Holz und als Maler und Graphiker, Mitbegründer der Künstlervereinigungen Bayerwaldkreis und Gruppe 91, Ausstellungen in Bonn, München, Regensburg, Würzburg, Speyer, Köln und Passau, weiterhin Ausstellungen in Tschechien und Frankreich, zum Ende seines Schaffens auch tätig im Bereich Metall (-schrott). Artist info: German sculptor (1926 Englburg to 2004 Tittling), descended from a family of stonemasons, apprenticeship and work as a carpenter, designed as a stone sculptor for the company Thiele in Fürstenstein, his grandfather as well as the painter Wilhelm Niedermayer and Dr. Hans Vogt encouraged him to continue his education in evening classes and correspondence courses, from 1965 freelance, active up to monumental size in stone, wood and as a painter and graphic artist, co-founder of the artist associations Bayerwaldkreis and Gruppe 91, exhibitions in Bonn, Munich, Regensburg, Würzburg, Speyer, Cologne and Passau, further exhibitions in the Czech Republic and France, towards the end of his work also active in the field of metal (scrap).
