      Betty MacDonald (American, 1913-2011), "Over the Hill," color etching/aquatint on paper, titled at lower left, editioned at the middle bottom 34/100, and signed lower right, measures 7.75 x 15 inches to the plate mark, in the frame it measures 16 x 24 inches. CONDITION: Good. MacDonald was a well know Washington, D.C., printmaker and artist. She studied art in New York and was known for producing drawings and watercolors of landmarks in Delaware, the Eastern Shore, New Hampshire and Virginia. Her artwork was exhibited widely and frequently won awards, with examples of her works housed in the collection of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.
