Jh., unter der Darstellung in der Platte bezeichnet rechts "J. MacArdell fecit." und links "J. Reynolds pinx.", Blatt gleichmäßig gebräunt und etwas knitterspurig, hinter Glas gerahmt, Darstellungsmaße ohne Schrift ca. 43,5 x 34,5 cm. Künstlerinfo: irischer Graphiker (um 1729 Dublin bis 1765), Schüler von John Brooks, ging mit seinem Lehrer 1746 nach London und Eröffnung einer Druckerei, er fertigte 35 Schabkunstblätter nach Joshua Reynolds, Quelle: Thieme-Becker und Wikipedia. MacArdell fecit." on the right and "J. Reynolds pinx." on the left, sheet evenly browned and somewhat creased, framed behind glass, dimensions without writing approx. 43.5 x 34.5 cm. Artist information: Irish printmaker (c. 1729 Dublin to 1765), pupil of John Brooks, went to London with his teacher in 1746 and opened a print shop, he produced 35 mezzotints after Joshua Reynolds, source: Thieme-Becker and Wikipedia.
