    Henry Maurice Cahours (French, 1889-1974). An estate lot of six (6) rare vintage limited edition etching prints with borders on paper. Figural sea, coastal and harbor scenes depicting figures with water, boats, architectural, botanical, and landscape elements, and other forms. Each with edition number 88 of 160 in pencil to lower left. Each artist pencil signed to lower right. Vintage gallery tags affixed. Each presented under glass with fabric mat borders in gilded gallery frames. Sight sizes vary, each approximately 4.25" x 3.25". Dimensions: 13.75 X 13.75 X .5 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related surface wear and toning. Frames having mild to moderate wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.     LOT OF BOOKS, EPHEMERA AND RELICS FROM COLONIAL AMERICA, FORT TICONDEROGA, AND FORT WILLIAM HENRY.

    Lot consists of (A) Shadowbox mounted in wooden frame with six leather shot flasks tied in place. All have wooden spouts, some with turnings. In the center is a small leather hunting bag or shot bag. CONDITION: All flasks are in good condition and appear to have no holes or damage. Leather bag in the center has some tears, cracks, and crazing to surface. Mountings excellent. (B) Well framed shadowbox of relics found at Lake George at the site of the Battle of The Grassy Knoll during the Siege of Fort William Henry in 1757. These items were found and mounted in this display by Hial Hall from Fort Anne, New York. They are mounted under glass with a wooden frame. In the background is a print of a pen and ink drawing of Fort William Henry by Herb Ritter. There are 15 buttons, mostly of brass, some appear to have an inscription. On the bottom there is a row of 10 lead balls of various calibers. There is also a large brass belt buckle and another faceted piece of iron. CONDITION: All items retain a dark patina and been dug. They are displayed very well. (C) Hardcover copy of "The Kentucky Rifle Hunting Pouch" by Madison Grant. CONDITION: Excellent. (D) Softcover copy of "The Legacy of Fort William Henry" by David R. Starbuck, "Fort William Henry" by Bradfield, "Massacre at Fort William Henry" by Starbuck. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) 12 Bulletins of the Fort Ticonderoga Museum. CONDITION: Excellent. (F) An original issue of the Gentleman's Magazine dated October 1757. In this issue there is an account of the siege and surrender of Fort William Henry that took place in August of 1757, both Fort Edward and Lake George are also mentioned in the article. CONDITION: Very good, but missing leather cover. (G) Another Gentleman's Magazine, dated October 1758, which is an account of the Siege of Fort Carillon (Fort Ticonderoga). CONDITION: Very good but missing covers. (H) An old photograph on cardboard of the ruins of Fort Ticonderoga, as well as two postcards of Fort Ticonederoga. (I) Two small iron French and Indian War cannonballs with stands, one is hollow and measures approximately 3" in diameter, other is 2 - 1/4" in diameter. CONDITION: Dug. (J) Piece of shrapnel from a larger cannon ball. CONDITION: Dug. DMG Condition: Dimensions:

His famous painting Die Waldszene, hangs in the Dusseldorfer Rathaus.
