She tended to enjoy recreating southern swamp scenes, NOLA courtyard scenes, magnolias, antique five and dime stores, riverboats, baptisms, weddings, and plantation scenes. Her most common medium was a canvas of course, but she also painted many cameos, thimbles, saws, and wooden purses.
