    Important art nouveau style bronze andirons, one having a boy's bust on top of a tapered square column decorated with an owl in relief, signed on reverse "H.L.". The opposing andiron having a girl's bust with a butterfly, also signed "H.L.". Both marked "Roman Bronze Works N.Y.". The square bases having pierced front feet with connecting tendrils. The andiron dogs are separate and have small acorn log stops. SIZE: Andirons: 25" h. - 8" square bases - Dogs: 25" l. CONDITION: Fabulous patina, very good. 9-25711
