James Lavadour (born 1951) is an American painter and printmaker. A member of the Walla Walla tribe, he is known for creating large panel sets of landscape paintings. Lavadour is the co-founder of the Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts.

    Two nude figures in bathroom. Oil on "found" tracing type fiber paper ("Walla Walla Union-Bulletin, Walla Wall, Wash 9-10-56" printed along edge); spot taped along edges to card stock backing. Pen signed and dated 1977 upper right with "March - living at Cayuse OR" notation. Double mat; inner mat pencil signed and dated 1977. Solid maple frame (without glass or backing board). Lavadour, a member of the Walla Walla tribe, is known for landscapes. Included in Venice Biennial and in the Whitney Museum. Paper 14.75" x 21.25". Mat opening 13" x 18.5". Frame 21" x 25.5".
