Juan Carlos Lasser was an Argentine painter. He studied at the Mutualidad de Estudiantes y Egresados de Bellas Artes (MEEBA). His abstract and expressive colorful works have been exhibited since 1973 in solo and group exhibitions at his home in Argentina, as well as in Singapore, Korea, Cuba, Uruguay, Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria and the United States.

The most prominent places where he has exhibited are: the "Atica Gallery", the "Fundación Banco Patricios", the "Tema Art Gallery" and the "Van Eyck Gallery", each in Buenos Aires, the "Art Gallery" in Washington DC or the "Sicardi-Sanders Gallery" in Houston, Texas. In the course of his life he received several awards for his artistic work. This is how he won the Grand Prize of Honor LXXXI. National Salon of Plastic Arts awarded. In 1990 he also received the first prize for painting at the Salón Municipal de Artes Plásticas Manuel Belgrano.

Two years later, he was awarded the First Prize at the National Salon for Rosario. He also received the Benito Quinquela Martín Award and the Gran Premio Pintura Fundación Federico Lanús.
