A pair of beautiful hand-colored lithographs by Emile Lassalle - a French lithographer and painter of portrait and genre subjects, after works by Carlos Nebel, a German-born artist best known for his drawings of Mexican architecture and landscapes in addition to his contributions to 19th century costumbrismo, a form of literature addressing customs and manners.
