      Philip Larson (American, 1944-2019). 24k gold leaf on gessoed paper titled "The Second Millstone (Wheat)" depicting a wheal of wheat that seemingly grows as the wheel turns, 1984. Signed, dated, and titled along the lower right. Many of the artist's works are held in the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Art and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked as a professor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) for many years. Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
