Fantastic educational maps on hard board showing railways and census information are marked The George Cram Co, Indianapolis IN are in a metal frame painted green, with a metal framed tab on the side. Eastern Pennsylvania on one side, with West Virginia on the other. There are a number of other Cram's maps listed separately in this auction, if you are interested. Dimensions are 49.5 in h x 52.5 in w x .25 in d. Condition is good with minor surface wear. Graphics are bright and frames are intact. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.

Virginia-Frederick Large (1914-1982) was born in Portland, Oregon and lived in Illinois and Wyoming in her adult life. There she painted sweeping Western landscapes and signed them under the name Frederick to avoid prejudices against female artists at the time.
