          This Morris Lapidus tiered grandeur chandelier was once displayed in the 1950's Americana Hotel in Bal Harbour, Florida before the building was demolished in 2007. The chandelier was picked up before the demolition and was part of The Bass Museum Exhibition: Promises of Paradise: Staging Mid-Century Miami, December 5, 2007 through April 13, 2008. Morris Lapidus was a Miami Beach architect who designed the infamous Americana Hotel Bal Harbour as well as the Fountainebleu Hotel and the Eden Roc Hotel. Features Morris Lapidus's personal embossed portfolio with an artist proof lithograph of a pair of hands and a screenprint of a winter farm scene. The pair of hands measure 17" x 22" and are pencil signed with the artist name and a quote. The screenprint measures 16.5" x 21.75" and is signed in the print itself and dated 66'. There is wear and tear to the portfolio as well as edge wear and tears and staining on the prints. The portfolio measures 24.75" x 19.5". In house continental USA shipping $65 plus insurance.
