    Petr Kvíčala (*1960) NO. 24. 2002. Acrylics on canvas, 80x100 cm, signed and dated with initials ‘PK 2002’ on the reverse. Petr Kvíčala becomes a pioneer of discovery and promotion of ornament as independent phenomenon at the turn of 80’s and 90’s. He reached this phenomenon thanks to the observation of rhythmical repetition of details in nature, which he has been developing until present days not only in painting itself, but also in projects and architecture. The basis of his style are ornamental, mostly wavy lines, angled lines or loops which he combines or overlays and arranges in layers. Petr Kvíčala (*1960) NO. 24. 2002. Od přelomu 80. a 90. let se Petr Kvíčala stává průkopníkem objevování a prosazování ornamentu jako svébytného fenoménu, k němuž se dostal od pozorování rytmického opakování detailů v přírodě a který rozvíjí až do současné doby jak v samostatné malbě, tak v projektech v architektuře. Základem jeho výtvarného jazyka jsou ornamentální linie, především vlnovky, lomené linie či smyčky, které vzájemně kombinuje či různě překrývá a vrství. Petr Kvíčala (*1960) NO. 24. 2002.
