    Portrait of a Woman , oil on canvas , 28 1/2 x 23 3/4 in (72.4 x 60.3 cm) , signed lower right and dated 1944, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Krichevsky is a Ukrainian artist, painter, theater artist and graphic artist. He was born in Kharkov, the son of B. Krichevsky, nephew FG Krichevsky. General education in Kiev. In 1919 he went to the theater M. Sadowski Czechoslovakia. In 1928 he graduated from the Art in Prague industrial and decorative school. In 1929 he moved to Paris and created the illustrations for "Taras Bulba" by Gogol. He has participated in exhibitions in Lviv, Paris, Warsaw, Prague, Brussel and Rome.
