The colorful scene takes place in a forest meadow. In the right background there are a fiddler and a man with a tambourine. A group of horses is grazing on the left. The focus, which is exacerbated by the incidence of light, is on the dancer. The painting in very good condition, however, the frame shows light signs of wear. The signature ‘B. Kriukow’ can be found lower left, the date is illegible. On the back of the canvas with manufacturer’s stamp. The stretcher measures 70 x 100 cm (without frame).
