DOPPELPORTRAIT VON TERESA UND MARIA MILANOLLO, 1843 Sichtmaß: 37,5 x 29,5 cm. Rahmenmaß: 40,5 x 32 cm. Lithografie auf Papier. Als Sitzfiguren dargestellt mit darunter befindlicher Kartusche mit Nennung ihrer Namen. Teresa Milanollo (1827-1904) erhielt ihren ersten Unterricht in Savigliano und Turin, später dann in Brüssel und Paris. In den 1830er-Jahren folgten erste Auftritte in Italien, später in Frankreich und anderen Ländern, welche sie in den 1840er-Jahren als Wunderkind berühmt machten. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt stand sie mit ihrer kleinen Schwester auf der Bühne und ging auf Konzert-Tourneen. Jedoch starb Maria Milanollo (1832-1848) bereits 1848 an Tuberkulose. (13802534) (13)
