    Carl Kricheldorf, Der Münzhändler älterer Mann in Renaissancetracht am Fenster, bei der Betrachtung von Münzen, gering pastose Malerei, Öl auf Platte, um 1910, links unten signiert "Carl Kricheldorf", rückseitig neuzeitliches Rahmungsetikett München, gerahmt, Falzmaße ca. 24 x 18 cm. Künstlerinfo: auch Karl Kricheldorff, dt. Portrait-, Genre- und Landschaftsmaler (1863 Celle bis 1934 München), Gymnasiumbesuch in Celle, zunächst Schüler seines Vaters Gottlieb Kricheldorf in Celle als Dekorationsmaler, studierte 1879–84 an der Akademie München bei Johann Leonhard Raab, Gabriel von Hackl und Ludwig von Löfftz, anschließend freischaffend in München, weitergebildet in Paris, unternahm Studienreisen in die Lüneburger Heide, in den Schwarzwald, nach Tirol, der Schweiz und ins Elsass, 1890–1905 in England tätig, beschickte hier die Ausstellungen der Royal Academy London, anschließend wieder in München, beschickte den Münchner Glaspalast und die Große Berliner Kunstausstellung und die Wiener Jahresausstellung, Mitglied der Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft, Quelle: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Bruckmann "Münchner Maler des 19./20. Artist information: also Karl Kricheldorff, German portrait, genre and landscape painter. Portrait, genre and landscape painter (1863 Celle - 1934 Munich), attended grammar school in Celle, initially a pupil of his father Gottlieb Kricheldorf in Celle as a decorative painter, studied 1879-84 at the Munich academy under Johann Leonhard Raab, Gabriel von Hackl and Ludwig von Löfftz, then freelanced in Munich, further training in Paris, undertook study trips to the Lüneburg Heath, the Black Forest, Tyrol, Switzerland and Alsace, 1890-1905 worked in England, exhibited at the Royal Academy London, then back in Munich, exhibited at the Munich Glaspalast and the Great Berlin Art Exhibition and the Vienna Annual Exhibition, member of the Munich Artists' Co-operative, source: Thieme-Becker, Saur "Bio-Bibliographisches Künstlerlexikon", Bruckmann "Münchner Maler des 19./20th century", register of the Munich Academy, Dressler, Boetticher, Johnson and Wikipedia.
