    Rabbit Hunting Scene, an 1871 painting by French artist Charles Louis Kratke (1848-1921). Signed on work itself (hidden away in the trunk of a tree). Oil on canvas. This is a large shipping item with artwork measuring approximately 18" wide and 14 1/2" high. Artwork is in fair condition with scattered flecks of paint chipping away. areas of amateur in-painting present. Gilt frame measures approximately 28 1/4" wide, 25" high and 3 1/2" deep and is in fair condition with scuffs, dings and chips. throughout, but most notably at the upper corners. The painting has been less than expertly mounted so a slight gap exists between the left edge of the art and the frame. Large, heavy shipping item.     Interior Scene is an original artwork realized by Charles Kratke in the XIX Century. Original Etching on paper; signed on plate on the lower left corner: S. C. Kratke in Capital Letters. Inscripted also on the lower right corner. Very good conditions. Beautiful artwork representing an interior scene with a male figure in the center of the room; the man is in front of a big ancient fireplace and the room is furnished with very elegant furnitures. The work has been realized by Charles Kratke. Charles Louis Kratke (1848 - 1921) was active/lived in France and he is known for genre and portrait painting, engraving. On the lower part of the sheet there is another different scene representing a sketch of a battle with several figures sketched in pencil.
