    Est: €3,800 - €4,400

Graden Landscape with a House Oil on Cardboard Signed lower right 11,7 x 15,7 in framed Verso painting of a forest Glade. Monogrammed lower right. Ferdinand Kitt, like many of his artist colleagues - from this circle the Zinkenbach painters' colony later develops - finds his beginnings in Expressionism. Although he turned to New Objectivity in the course of his artistic career, in the end he found his way back to his Expressionist roots. The present garden landscape shows the reduced painting style with expressionist influence. The colour palette, which is limited to predominantly earth tones, gains energy from the dynamic brushstroke. Slight scratch in the centre of the picture and loss of colour in the right centre. Does not disturb the overall impression.
