Zak Kitnick was born in Los Angeles, California in 1984. He lives and works in New York. He received his BA from Bard College and his MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, Bard College, New York. Solo exhibitions of his work have been held at White Flag Projects, St. Louis; Rowhouse Project, Baltimore; Off Vendome, Du¨sseldorf, Germany; and Landings Project Space, Vestfossen, Norway. Recent group exhibitions include History of Nothing, White Cube, London; To Do As One Would, David Zwirner, New York; Taster’s Choice, MoMA PS1, New York; The Way You Remembered, Queens Museum of Art, New York, and Between Spaces, MoMA PS1, New York.

Zak Kitnick’s work is part of the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York and Mamco, Geneva.
