London: Joseph Smith, [c. 1720]. 18 1/2" x 43 1/2" visible, 30 1/2" x 55" framed. The Westminster view encompassing west London, the Thames, Kensington, Hampstead, and Highgate. A prolific Dutch engraver, Kip's career flourished in London where he collaborated with Leonard Knyff to produce the famous topographical folding plates for the Britannia Illustrata.
