    RAUFEREI IN DER SCHULSTUNDE Öl auf Holz. 43 x 72 cm. Rechts unten signiert. Gemälde des 19. Jahrhunderts von hoher bildkünstlerischer sowie zeitinformativer Qualität. Dargestellt ist das Innere einer Bürgerschule, wobei weniger das Interieur, sondern vielmehr die charakteristisch wiedergegebenen Mädchen und Buben im Zentrum des Interesses stehen. In der Bildmitte zwei sich balgende Knaben, rechts davon ein weiterer Bub, der sich unter einem Tisch zu verstecken sucht, während im Hintergrund die Lehrerin offensichtlich entsetzt in den Raum hereintritt, mit hochgehaltenen Händen. Links im Bild drei gesittete Mädchen im Gespräch, das mittlere hält ein Sticktuch in den Händen. Naturalistisch-realistische Wiedergabe des Sujets, das uns in die Welt des Schulalltags des 19.
