      Oskar Just (born Kakau, 1895) A GROUP OF THREE PORTRAITS OF COMPETITORS AT THE 1936 BERLIN OLYMPIC GAMES: DHYAN CHAND, INDIAN FIELD HOCKEY GOLD MEDAL WINNER; DENIS VICTOR SHORE, SOUTH AFRICAN 400m; UNIDENTIFIED BRITISH COMPETITOR each signed & dated 1936, the first two additionally signed in pencil by the subject, oil on canvas board, 41 by 33cm., 16 by 13in., wooden frame Dhyan Chand is widely considered to be one of the greatest field hockey players of all time. He is best remembered for his goal scoring feats and for his three Olympic gold medals of 1928, 1932 & 1936 in the all dominant Indian team of the period.
