Gouaches, bright coloured on white cardboard with transparent adhesive tape sheet. Original illustrations for 'Sharpy Cleans House', an episode of the series 'The Bluffers' with illustrations by Michael Jupp. Frank Fehmers Productions, 1984-1986. 15 illustrations, all numbered 'illustration 1-15' and with small stickers 'Sharpy Cleans House, p. 5 [-33]', inscribed in green ink below the first drawing 'Bedtime Bk 4 - Sharpy Cleans Hse. - pag. 5' (lower margin). All 26 x 26 cm. with white margins. With 13 text leaves for the Dutch translation, printed text, cut out and mounted on white numbered cardboard '4-32', (lower left) with the same stickers on an attached sheet of tracing paper, all 15 x 15 cm. Michael Jupp (1948) is an English cartoonist, designer and illustrator, known in particular for his work on the cartoon series 'The Bluffers', 'Sebastian Star Bear' and 'The Dreamstone'. "This series is about a group of animals (The Bluffers) who live in the last remaining patch of forest in the otherwise barren land of Bluffoonia" (BCDB.com).
