Two drawings, pen and ink and grey wash and watercolour, each 69,5x38,2 cm., both signed "C. de Jonker, Fecit 1791" and with resp. "No.1"/ "No.3" in lower left corner in pen and ink. = Original designs for two of the three prints made by C. de Jonker after the allegorical glass windows of the house of Abraham Daatselaar, the man who had helped Hugo de Groot with his escape from Slot Loevestijn. These three windows commemorate De Groot's imprisonment, his exile and his famous escape. F.M. 1442 and Atlas van Stolk 1517. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LII.
