        A Painting of a Pheasant on a Rock, signed by Chinese Artist Jiang Pu (1708-1761) This color on silk painting depicts a pheasant perched upon a rock beneath a tree, surrounded by flowers. There is a large stamp at the top of the work. It is framed in a gilded carved wooden frame with a gold brocade mat and glass. It is approximately 38 7/8 inches high X 21 1/4 inches wide, without the mat or frame. From a Southern California estate. Condition: It is in good condition.
