Wendy Jelbert Art for Sale and Sold Prices

Wendy is a member of the 'Society of Women Artists', the 'Society of Floral Painters' and the St Ives Society of Artists. She studied art in Southampton and has exhibited in many prestigious galleries including the Mall Gallery in London, the 'Westminster Gallery in London, the First Floor Gallery in Romsey, and the John Bourne Gallery in Reigate, Surrey.

Wendy has written 40 art books and has been featured in 13 art DVDs, all of which give valuable lessons in how to paint in a variety of media. She also writes articles for the Leisure Painter magazine.


As well as this, Wendy has designed two watercolour brushes which have proved very popular. Wendy has taught for over 30 years and is a tutor for residential courses at various locations including West Dean in Sussex, Urchfont Manor near Devizes, Dedham Hall in Essex and the W.I. Denman College at Marcham near Oxford.

Wendy was an accredited art demonstrator for Caran D'Ache, Swan Studio, Liquitex, Rowney and Windsor and Newton.


She has won many prizes throughout her career. These include 'Best Exhibit' at the S.W.A. in London Mall & Westminster Galleries, 'Best Exhibit' at the Bursledon Art Exhibition, 'Best Exhibit' at the Wessex Gallery and 'Best Exhibit' at the Lee Gallery in Romsey.

Wendy has two daughters, Rebecca and Rosalind who are following in their mother's footsteps, and a multitude of young grandchildren who also love to 'express themselves' in paint!
