Estimado $ 300,000-500,000 MAXIMINO JAVIER (Santa Fe la Mar, Valle Nacional, Oaxaca, 1948 - ) La muerte vencida Firmado y fechado 1994 Óleo sobre tela Desde pequeño Maximino Javier le ayudaba a su padre en el campo a limpiar tabaco, arroz y maíz. En aquella época no se les exigía a los niños a ir a la escuela, pero gracias a una beca que obtuvo pudo independizarse y dedicarse de lleno a la pintura. Con gran dedicación, logró formar parte la primera generación del Taller de Artes Plásticas Rufino Tamayo, donde conoció a Francisco Toledo quien le compró su primera obra. Posteriormente emigró a la Ciudad de México para trazar su propio camino, a pesar de las consignas de que allá sería todo más difícil, pronto consiguió a un patrocinador para realizar una exposición, en la cual todos sus cuadros fueron vendidos, lo que marcó el inicio de una trayectoria de grandes éxitos. Por consiguiente realizó muchas más exposiciones en galerías de gran importancia en México, Buenos Aires, Puerto Rico, Washington, Nueva York, París, Rotterdam y Madrid. En el transcurso de su carrera ha experimentado con diversas texturas y colores a través del óleo, las acuarelas y tintas, además es un especialista en los procesos de la obra gráfica, la cual ha ejercido con frecuencia en los talleres de Guacha Bato Ediciones, Pilar Bordes y Gráfica Soruco, entre otros.
